La escena del Jazz se renueva constantemente en la República Dominicana. En ese medio, una figura que sobresale por la limpieza y transparencia de su sonido, es sin dudas, la del pianista Sebastián Lerner. Sebastián realizó estudios clásicos de música y ha participado en numerosos grupos. Es compositor, arreglista y un verdadero talento en la ejecución pianística.

 

 

 

 

Sebastián Lerner is the new member of STUPIDSILENCE, following Mariño Peña who enter the band in 2001. Sebastián will be playing the piano, complementing the guitar (played by Marino Peña), the bass (played by Max Familia), the drums (played by Beto Familia) and vocals (by Aliosha Michelen).

He has realized studies at Berklee College of Music and Suny Purchase in NY. Is currently a Piano teacher at the National Classic Conservatory of Music in Sto. Dgo. He's done 2 CD's called: "Música Elástica" - electrónica and "A paso de Cebra". Has participated with groups like: Tribú del Sol, Caobazul, among others. Is currently working on a SoundTrack for an independent film and making music for commercial ads.
